A Unique Solution

The JL-305 is ingeniously equipped with a mechanism that, when a pocket is full, it moves the banknotes from that pocket to an escrow, releasing it to the microprocessor and carries on its operation. Physically the JL-305 has four outputs, and one reject pocket, but in reality the unit performs as if it has double the number of pockets.
The JL-305 is designed to eliminate jamming. The notes transport path is straight, so notes coming into the machine travel all the way to the output pockets in a straight flat path.

Operation

The JL-305 provides two pockets per sorting category (plus virtual pockets) enabling a continuous non-stop feeding, maximizing efficiency. Output pockets can be assigned to any category or parameter. the user interface is user friendly incorporating a touch screen with navigation keys making the JL-305 easy to operate.

User Interface

The JL-305 operates up to 800 notes per minute, independently of the mode of operation. The operators interface features a touch screen with navigation keys, automatic stop start function, user adjustable presets for sorting criteria, batch stops and totals accumulation (end of batch, end of job, and end of day) of all notes counted. The flat VGA shows not only the results of a process, but also the status of the unit.

Detectors

The JL-305 use a suite of state-of-the-art detectors. Each individual detector gathers data from both sides, and the full surface, of the notes processed. An ingeniously designed and advanced image sensor gathers a multiple of different information from both sides of the notes regarding the general condition of them, such as total area, conformity to printed security features, missing parts or deterioration. Adaptation to a new currency is quick and easy.

Power of Processing

A microprocessor, working under Windows, is the heart of the system. Windows operating system gives the JL-305 many advantages such as connectivity, exapandability, and speed that are not possible with other propriety operating systems. When a printer is required, one simply plugs in any printer and the unit recognizes, and configures it. Through the USB connection, the unit can be connected to a network of other computers, and processing results, such as notes counted, suspects, number of notes per pocket, or operators ID, time and date, can be printed or transferred to a PC.
